My Job Schedule (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs a scheduling and booking portal. Organizations (like home inspection companies) can create an account and list services. Customers can book a service with the organization they choose, and Inspectors fulfill those services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1) Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to:

• Visitors: people who browse the website.
• Customers/Clients: people who book a service.
• Companies/Service Providers: organizations that register and manage bookings (for example, home inspection companies) and their staff who use the dashboard.
• Inspectors: staff or contractors assigned by Organizations to carry out booked services.

2) Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to run the platform, keep it safe, and support your bookings.

A) Information you give us

For Customers/Clients

• Name, phone number, email
• Service address (where the inspection or service happens)
• Booking details (date, time, service type)
• Messages you send through forms or support

For Companies/Service Providers and Inspectors

• Company name, contact name, phone number, email
• Business address, service areas, service types, pricing (if listed)
• Login details (such as email and password)
• Team member details you add (names, roles, contact info)
• Any files you upload (only if your account needs them)

B) Information we collect automatically

When you use the site, we may collect:

• Device and browser details
• IP address and general location (city/region level)
• Pages you visit and actions you take
• Cookies or similar tools that help the site work properly

C) Google Calendar Integration

My Job Schedule uses Google Calendar to help schedule and manage appointments between Customers, Organizations, and Inspectors.

How it works: when a booking is made, confirmed, rescheduled, or canceled on the platform, the corresponding calendar event is automatically created, updated, or removed through our system on behalf of the Organization and Inspector involved, so that everyone's schedule stays accurate and conflict-free. Organizations and Inspectors do not need to separately connect or manage a Google account for this to work.

What we access: calendar event details such as date, time, title, description, and attendees, along with availability information needed to prevent double-booking. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google product or data.

How we use it: solely to create, update, or cancel appointment events and check availability for scheduling purposes. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Who can see it: Organizations and Inspectors can view bookings assigned to them within their platform dashboard. Calendar data is not shared with any third party beyond what is described in Section 5.

Your control: Customers, Organizations, and Inspectors can contact us at support@myjobsschedule.com to ask questions about calendar access, or to request that a specific booking event be removed.

You can disconnect integrations at any time by contacting us.

3) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage accounts
• Show listings and availability
• Let customers book services
• Send booking confirmations and reminders
• Help companies manage schedules and assignments
• Create, update, and cancel calendar events for bookings
• Provide customer support and respond to questions
• Improve the website, fix bugs, and keep the platform running
• Protect against fraud, misuse, and security risks

We do not use spyware. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising or to train AI/ML models.

4) How Bookings and Payments Work

My Job Schedule helps connect customers with the company they choose.

• Customers pay the service provider for the booked service (based on your business setup).
• Companies may pay My Job Schedule a fee to use the portal.

Payment details are handled through your chosen payment method or provider. If we use a payment partner in the future, we will update this policy to explain what they collect and why.

5) When We Share Information

We only share information when it is needed to provide the service, follow the law, or protect users.

A) With the service provider you book

When a customer books a service, we share the booking details with the company chosen by the customer (such as name, contact info, service address, and time), and with the Inspector assigned to fulfill it.

B) With service providers who help us run the platform

We may share limited information with trusted vendors that provide services such as:

• Website hosting and storage
• Email/SMS delivery for notifications
• Analytics (to understand traffic and improve the site)
• Customer support tools
• Calendar scheduling (Google Calendar), as described in Section 2C

They are allowed to use the information only to do work for us.

C) For legal reasons

We may share information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and platform security.

D) Business changes

If we are involved in a merger, sale, or transfer, information may be shared as part of that process. If that happens, we will take steps to protect your data.

6) Cookies and Similar Tools

Cookies help the site function and remember basic preferences.

We may use cookies to:

• Keep you logged in
• Maintain basic site settings
• Measure which pages are used most

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including Google Calendar data. This includes using secure systems, access controls, and standard security practices. No website can guarantee perfect security. Please use a strong password and do not share your login details with others.

8) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to:

• Provide the service and keep the platform running
• Maintain records for business and legal reasons
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where reasonable, including calendar event data tied to canceled or completed bookings.

9) Your Choices and Rights

You can:

• Access your account information.
• Update or correct your details
• Request deletion of your account (when allowed by law)
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails (booking and service emails may still be sent)

10) Children’s Privacy

My Job Schedule is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us, and we will remove it.

11) International Users

If you use My Job Schedule from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed and stored in that country. We take steps to protect data wherever it is handled.

12) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are important, we will post a notice on the website. The “Effective date” at the top will show when the latest version starts.
